How do I Set up Tables?

There are three approaches

Look at the set up screen below.  This sets up the basic design of table.  The widths,
borders etc can all be altered later.

This allows you to place the cursor where you want the table to appear, hold down left
mouse button and draw out table.  If you place drawing pencil again inside a cell you
can draw out more cells.  In this way a complex table design can be built up.

How Can I change cells

You have two options when you want to format the table/cells you have created

  1. Click with RIGHT HAND mouse button inside cell to open up service menu.  This allows you to change the cells using 'Insert Row', 'Insert Column' and 'Split Cells'.  You can also set cell, table and page properties here.

2     Go to Table menu and select one of the options such as  'Table properties'.  You
can also merge and split cells from here.

Adding Graphics

You can add graphics from your system or the clip art library that are stored on file.  When you save your page the embedded files will be saved into your 'web'.
Pictures can be in the following formats: GIF, JPEG, BMP, TIFF, TGA, RAS, EPS, PNG, PCD and WMF. FrontPage will save them to either GIF or JPEG into your 'web'.

Formatting my images

On web pages you do not have the same freedom as in a DTP program to position images and their associated text.
You can do the following things

This text is aligned to top of the image. The text is set to start a short distance from image.
