How do I get a Domain Name?

If you want a unique name describing your company you must first find out if it is available. You can do this by going to a domain name/hosting company. You can get these from a Web mag. Have a look at these sites.

What you get for your money varies enormously. look for features such as amount of webspace, support for advanced features (PHP4, Cgi-bin, MySQL, email forwarding, transfer fees etc). For a fully managed advanced account you will pay £200 per year. For a simple account you will pay about £10 for 2 years.
