| The Insert Bar This is found welded to the top menu ststem above
the Document Toolbar.
There are now only 8 tabs to select different views. 'Common' view is selected
by default

Media, Head, Templates, Tables, Frames, Characters, Head and Script have all been removed and re-assigned elsewhere.
HTML, Flash Elements, Favorites have been added.
You can add your own as extensions as in the example above where Mambo tabs have been added. Layout is used to insert tables, layers and drag out tables onto the screen. Standard View is selected by default. All the views all perform specialist
jobs.
- Common inserts commonly
used objects such as images, links, tables and things made in Flash and
Fireworks
- Layout switches between
Standard and Layout view. In Layout view you can draw out tables and cells.
In Standard view you can insert Layers
and Insert tables already containing rows and cells.
- Tables - now in layout with extra icons for manipulating tables.
- Frames - now in Common has icons
concerned with the layout of frames.
- Forms has icons all
connected to creating forms
- Templates - now in Common. Used when creating templates
- Characters - now in Text
- Media - now in Common. This has buttons
for inserting Flash buttons , Flash animated media and Flash text. You
insert Java applets and ActiveX objects
here too.
- Head - now in HTML has icons concerned
with putting meta tags into the head section of your page.
- Script - now in HTML is used to
put in scripts and serverside includes.
- Application allows
dynamic elements to be inserted
- Flash Elements - for inserting Flash into documents
- Favorites -
enables you to group and organize commonly used Insert bar buttons.
