| MX has some different workspace layout options from earlier versions

- Insert Bar options have been re-organised and reduced in number.
- You can view the Insert Bar as tabs or a menu.
- New layout options have been introduced.
- Document toolbar has been simplified.

The important
tools to understand are called Panels. Two of these (Insert Bar and Property Inspector) are displayed by default. The others are initially pulled out from the right hand side of the working screen and are grouped. You can clear this arrangement by dragging out the panels and closaing them. They are then available only from the Window menu. This gives a cleaner workspace.
- The
Insert Bar contains buttons
for inserting things like images, tables, buttons and layers. It now contains
8 different sections
- The Property Inspector
is used to format and set the properties of selected objects
- Other Panels
are used to carry out tasks. The panels are grouped together by type.
They are available by name in the Window menu.
